Being the most popular archeologist site in Greece Delphi has become prime tourists destination of Greece.It is located along the slope of the magnificent Mount Parnassus. For the ancient Greeks, Delphi was quite literally the center of the world. It is blessed by Apollo, and the holiest site in the world. These historical religious monuments range in date from Mycenean times to the early Christian era and are one of the must-sees in Greece. Delphi Museum: Delphi museum of archeology was built in 1903 to protect historical treasure, and was later modified to a larger two-storied construction in 1958. In 1975, the museum was enriched with the chryselephantine objects. It is now one of the most popular historical monument of the country and the central attraction for those getting into country taking  Greece flights The exhibits at museum include; findings from the Treasury of Sifnos, the Treasury of Athens as well as Hellenistic art sculptures and the Pediments of the Temple of Apollo. Sanctuary of Athena: It is located about a mile east of famous Sanctuary of Apollo. It is an ancient monument of 4th century. This site has been preserved since Mycenean times.
