This will be the coldest day for Attica, with temperatures starting at 0°C and reaching up to 11°C. According to the Emergency Weather Deterioration Bulletin from the National Meteorological Service, strong rains, storms, and snowfalls are expected in mountainous, semi-mountainous, and even low-altitude areas in the eastern mainland. Gale-force north-northeast winds of Beaufort 8, locally up to Beaufort 9, will blow over the Aegean and eastern mainland from Tuesday evening until Wednesday night. Intense rainfall and storms are forecasted for Chalkidiki, Thessaly, Sporades, Evia, Phthiotis, Boeotia, and Crete. Snowfall is also anticipated in mountainous and semi-mountainous regions, including some low-altitude areas in Thessaly, Evia, Eurytania, Phthiotis, and Boeotia. By Thursday, conditions will improve, with clear skies and light cloud cover in most areas, though frost may occur in the northern mainland mornings. Temperatures will rise significantly by Saturday, reaching up to 16-18°C in many areas.
