Clear skies are expected across Greece tomorrow, Monday, 29 June 2026, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY). Brief, passing clouds may appear during the afternoon and early evening in northern mainland areas and the mountainous regions of Crete.
Temperatures on the rise
Temperatures will rise slightly nationwide. The Ionian Islands and the eastern Aegean islands will see highs of 33–35°C; inland areas will reach 35–36°C, with local peaks of 37°C in western regions. In the Cyclades and Crete, temperatures will range from 30–32°C.
Winds easing
Winds will blow from northern directions at 3–5 on the Beaufort scale, reaching 6—and locally 7—around the Aegean Sea.
Attica
Generally clear. Northeasterly winds of 4–5 Beaufort are expected, increasing to 6 in eastern areas—and briefly up to 7 in the early morning. Temperatures will range from 24°C to 35°C, with eastern parts 2–3°C cooler.
Thessaloniki
Mostly clear, with brief cloud cover in the afternoon and early evening. Variable winds of 3–4 Beaufort. Temperatures between 22°C and 35°C.
Macedonia & Thrace
Generally clear, with occasional afternoon and evening clouds. Northerly winds of 3–4 Beaufort, strengthening to 4–5 in eastern areas—and locally up to 6 in the early morning. Temperatures will range from 18°C to 36°C, with western Macedonia 3–4°C cooler.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Central Greece, Western Peloponnese
Mostly clear, with brief cloud cover over the mountains of Epirus in the afternoon and evening. Northerly winds of 3–5 Beaufort. Temperatures from 20°C to 35°C—locally reaching 36–37°C inland. Inland Epirus will be 3–4°C cooler.
Thessaly, Eastern Central Greece, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Generally clear. Northeasterly winds of 4–5 Beaufort, increasing to 6—and briefly up to 7—in eastern areas during the early morning. Temperatures between 20°C and 36°C.
Cyclades & Crete
Clear, with brief afternoon and evening cloud cover over Crete’s mountains. Northerly winds of 4–6 Beaufort. Temperatures from 22°C to 31°C—and up to 32°C in southern Crete.
Eastern Aegean Islands & Dodecanese
Generally clear. Northerly winds of 4–6 Beaufort—reaching 7 locally in northern areas. Temperatures from 22°C to 34°C.
