Weather Tomorrow: Clouds and Local Rain Across Most of Greece – 7 Beaufort in Ionian Sea

The weather will generally improve tomorrow (3/2/2026) across most of Greece, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY). Scattered clouds and isolated showers are expected in several regions. Light snowfall is forecast for mountainous areas of eastern Macedonia during early morning hours. Visibility will be locally reduced over mainland areas due to fog formation in the morning and evening. Winds will blow from northern directions at 4–5 Beaufort in the Aegean, reaching 6 Beaufort locally in the southeast, gradually shifting to southerly/southeasterly winds of similar intensity. Across the rest of the country, southerly/southeasterly winds of 3–5 Beaufort are expected; in the Ionian Sea, winds will strengthen to 6–7 Beaufort from afternoon, especially in northern areas. Temperatures will not exceed 8°C in Thrace, reach 10–12°C in other northern mainland areas, 14–16°C elsewhere on the mainland, and up to 17–18°C locally in western, southern, and insular regions. In Attica, skies will be partly cloudy in the morning, clearing later; winds will be variable up to 3 Beaufort, with temperatures between 8°C and 16°C. In Thessaloniki, increased cloud cover may bring isolated rain until noon; easterly winds of 3–4 Beaufort and temperatures of 6–12°C are expected. Similar patterns apply regionally—with light rain in central Macedonia, localized showers in the Sporades and northern Crete, and stronger winds in the Ionian and southeastern Aegean.
