Weather Today: Sunny with Temperatures Reaching Up to 20 Degrees Celsius

Today, March 8th, will be warmer than usual for this time of year, as temperatures are expected to reach up to 20 degrees Celsius. According to the bulletin from the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), the weather today in Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Evia, and the northeastern Aegean will generally be clear. In the rest of the country, there will be scattered clouds at intervals, which may become denser in the Ionian Sea, western and southern mainland areas, and Crete. Winds in the west will be variable and weak, while in the east, they will blow from northern directions at 3-4 Beaufort scale, and locally in the Aegean, up to 5, occasionally reaching 6 by noon. Temperatures will show a slight decrease in maximum values, reaching 18-19 degrees Celsius in most areas, and locally in the mainland and the Dodecanese, 20 degrees Celsius. Attica will experience generally clear skies with scattered clouds at times, winds from northern directions at 3-4 Beaufort scale, and temperatures ranging from 8 to 19 degrees Celsius.
