The weather on the first day of April will be overcast with showers and gusty winds expected in several areas. Local showers are anticipated today in the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Cyclades, while Crete and the Dodecanese will experience sporadic thunderstorms that may locally intensify. In the rest of the country, there will be occasional clouds, which could increase temporarily in Macedonia and Thrace during the afternoon, bringing some local rain or drizzle. Winds will blow from northern directions, reaching speeds of 4-6 Beaufort in the west, 5-7 Beaufort in the east, and up to 8 Beaufort locally in the Aegean by the evening. Temperatures will rise slightly, especially in the Ionian Sea and inland areas, reaching highs of 25-26°C in the Ionian region and western mainland, 23-25°C in the remaining inland areas, and 19-21°C in the eastern island regions. Attica will see generally clear skies with scattered clouds at times more frequent. The wind will be northeasterly at 5-7 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 8 Beaufort in the morning in the eastern part, gradually weakening. Temperatures will range from 12 to 22°C, with cooler conditions in the north and east.
