Weather Today: Rain, Snow, and Strong Winds in the Aegean

Attica will experience periodic cloudiness, with northeasterly winds at 4-6 Beaufort gradually weakening. In Thessaloniki, expect occasional clouds with light local showers until afternoon and weak snowfall in nearby mountains. Macedonia and Thrace will see scattered clouds with localized rain and weak snowfall in higher altitudes. The Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, and Western Peloponnese will face increased cloudiness with local showers or downpours, and some snow in the mountains. Eastern Sterea, Evia, and Eastern Peloponnese will also have local showers, particularly in Evia and Eastern Peloponnese, along with weak snowfall in the mountains. Cyclades and Crete are forecasted to have increased cloudiness with local showers and possible brief thunderstorms in Crete, which might be intense in places. The eastern Aegean islands and Dodecanese will see periodic cloudiness with showers and sporadic thunderstorms that could be locally severe. Thessaly will experience showers with weak snowfall in the mountains.
