Weather Today: Clouds, 26°C Temps, and Localized Showers in Western and Northern Areas

Spring-like weather is expected today, Great Friday (April 18), with conditions shaped by passing clouds, slight temperature drops, and localized showers. According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY), western and northern areas will see occasional cloud cover with temporary increases and local showers of short duration, primarily in western Macedonia and Epirus. The rest of the country will generally experience clear skies with sporadic clouds. Visibility during morning and evening hours in inland areas may be locally restricted due to fog, especially in the west and north. Winds in the Ionian Sea and inland areas will blow from westerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, while in the Aegean Sea, winds will come from southwesterly directions with the same intensity. However, in southern areas, westerly winds will strengthen to 6 Beaufort by afternoon.
