Rain across the country
According to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), rain is expected today across central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, the Sporades islands, and the northeastern Aegean. From midday, showers will also affect Evia, eastern Central Greece, and Attica.
Friday’s forecast
In eastern Thessaly, eastern Central Greece, and Evia, skies will be partly cloudy early Friday morning with isolated showers, followed by rapid improvement. Elsewhere in the country, conditions will generally remain clear.
However, during the afternoon and early evening, cloud development is expected over Central Greece and the Peloponnese, bringing showers, downbursts, and isolated thunderstorms — especially in mountainous areas.

Macedonia & Thrace
Mostly clear, though short-lived clouds will develop during the afternoon and evening over eastern Macedonia and Thrace, bringing isolated showers or downbursts.
Winds will be variable at 3–5 Beaufort; in central Macedonia, they’ll begin northerly before shifting to southerly sea breezes along the coast from noon. Temperatures will range from 18°C to 34°C — reaching up to 35°C locally in central Macedonia.
