Weather: Rains and strong winds from Wednesday – The forecast of the next few days

With the bad weather “P” approaching, meteorologists are talking about and expected to hurt the country in the next few hours. According to weather forecast, rains and storms will begin on Wednesday and are expected to gradually affect much of Greece. Meteorologists are talking about bad weather of the type “P”, as bad weather – as it all seems – will leave central Greece unaffected and will mainly affect the eastern, western and northern regions. The temperature until tomorrow will rise, and from Thursday it will start to fall. The forecast of the next few days FOR THE WEDNESDAY 20-11-2024 In Ionion, the western continentals, the eastern Aegean, the Cyclades and Crete are predicted increased clouds with local rains, while from the afternoon hours, isolated storms are expected to occur in the northwest as well as in the eastern Aegean. The phenomena in the evening hours will intensify and expand to the rest of the western continentals. In the rest of the country the weather will generally be atrium with temporary clouds at intervals in the northern continentals. Visibility will be locally limited in the morning hours, mainly in the central and northern continentals. The transport of dust is favoured, mainly in the west and south. Winds will blow in the west southwest 4 to 5 and gradually in the Ionian local 6 Beaufort. To the east south-west 4 to 6 and gradually to the Aegean to 7 Beauforts. The temperature will rise slightly. It will reach the north of 16 to 18 degrees and the rest of the 19 to 22 regions and local to the south mainlands and Crete the 23 degrees Celsius. PREPARATION FOR THURSDAY 21-11-2024 Initially in Ionion, the western continentals, the eastern Aegean, the Cyclades and Crete, the weather is predicted to be unstable with rains and sporadic storms. From the afternoon hours a temporary improvement of the weather is expected in the Ionian Sea and the western mainlands and gradually in the Cyclades and Crete, while in the eastern Aegean the phenomena will be preserved. In the rest of the country increased clouds are expected from time to time with local rains in the northern mainland in the southern hours. The winds will initially breathe west southwest 5 to 6 and on the seas local 7 Beaufort. Gradually in the west and from the afternoon hours in the northern Aegean will turn temporarily to northern addresses and weaken. Temperature will drop slightly to the north. PREPARATION FOR PRODUCTION 22-11-2024 In Ionion, the western continental and Dodecanese weather is predicted to be unstable with rains that gradually to the west will intensify and present sporadic storms, mainly to the northwest. In the other areas a few clouds will gradually increase and local rains will occur locally in the central and northern mountains as well as in the eastern Aegean. The winds will breathe initially west southwest 4 to 5 and gradually in the seas 6 to 7 Beaufort, while locally in the northern Aegean from the evening hours will be strengthened and 8 Beauforts will reach. Temperature won’t change significantly. PREPARATION FOR SATURDAY 23-11-2024 In the eastern island country the weather is expected to be fluent with rains and storms, probably locally strong with gradual improvement from afternoon hours. In the rest of the areas, increased clouds are predicted with local rains, while in the west and north continentals there will be isolated storms. From noon and from the northwest there is expected a gradual improvement in weather except Crete. Winds will initially breathe west southwest 5 to 6 and on the seas 7, local 8 Beaufort while quickly turning to northern addresses with the same intensity. Temperature will drop.
