Spring-like weather continues this week, as tomorrow, Tuesday (March 11, 2025), high temperatures are expected again. However, rains are anticipated in some areas, and African dust might make an appearance. According to the weather forecast by the National Meteorological Service, clouds will periodically increase with local showers in western regions, and isolated thunderstorms are possible in the northwest. In other areas, scattered clouds will become denser at times with local showers in the northern mainland during the afternoon, along with possible isolated thunderstorms. Winds will blow from southern directions at 4 to 6 Beaufort, reaching up to 8 locally at sea. Temperatures will remain high for the season, reaching 20-22°C and up to 23°C locally in Crete. Visibility in the early morning hours may be locally restricted in the western mainland. The transfer of African dust is favored, mainly in the west and south. For Macedonia and Thrace, intermittent cloudiness with local showers is expected from noon onward, and isolated thunderstorms are possible in the northeast by late evening. Winds will be from southern directions at 2 to 4 Beaufort, increasing to 4 to 6 in eastern areas and the Thracian Sea. Temperatures will range from 5 to 21°C, with 2 to 3°C lower in Western Macedonia.
