Weather Forecast: Ten Days of Scorching Heat and African Dust Ahead

Summer-like weather is expected in the coming days, as temperatures are predicted to soar for at least ten days. According to the forecast by renowned meteorologist Giorgos Chatravylis, a ten-day period of temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius is on its way, accompanied by dust. ‘Finally, winds are gradually weakening while temperatures are rising,’ Chatravylis notes. ‘In the coming days, besides sunshine in most areas, mercury levels in inland regions and Crete will reach and surpass 30 degrees Celsius.’ He adds that southerly winds will dominate, and mid-week, African dust transport to our region will begin.
