According to weather forecasts, Friday is expected to be the hottest day, with areas such as Larissa and Athens set to experience exceptionally high temperatures for this time of year. Meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos posted updates about the temperatures in five major Greek cities. The forecast shows that while some regions may see slight cooling by Sunday, others will continue to endure intense heat. Additionally, windy conditions are anticipated in various parts of Greece. General clear skies are expected through the week, though localized showers and thunderstorms may occur in mountainous areas. Winds will predominantly blow from northern directions at moderate speeds, with higher gusts expected in the Aegean Sea. Temperatures are predicted to rise significantly, surpassing seasonal averages by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in many areas.
