Weather Forecast: Temperature Drop and Strong Winds Expected

A wintry scene is expected across the country tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4th, according to the forecast. Specifically, as per the bulletin from EMY (Hellenic National Meteorological Service), the weather for tomorrow will feature scattered clouds in various areas, with increased cloudiness in eastern mainland regions and locally in the Aegean, where light local showers are expected. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible in Crete. Winds will blow from the northeast, reaching speeds of 4-6 Beaufort in the west, 5-7 Beaufort in the east, and up to 8 Beaufort locally in the Aegean. Temperatures will slightly decrease in central and southern regions, dropping to 13-14°C in the eastern and northern mainland, 15-16°C in western and eastern island areas, and locally up to 17°C in the Dodecanese. Frost may occur in the morning in some northern mainland areas. Attica will see scattered clouds with winds blowing from the north-northeast at 6-7 Beaufort, locally up to 8 Beaufort in eastern and southern areas, with temperatures ranging from 9°C to 13°C. Thessaloniki will experience generally clear skies with occasional morning clouds and variable winds at 3-4 Beaufort, with temperatures between 6°C and 14°C. Macedonia and Thrace will have scattered local clouds, with temperatures ranging from 3°C to 14°C.
