Weather Forecast: Spring-Like Conditions with Temperatures Reaching 20°C

Spring-like weather is expected across most of Greece on Saturday, March 8th, according to the National Meteorological Service (EMY). While scattered clouds are anticipated in some areas, temperatures will rise significantly, reaching up to 20°C in certain inland and Dodecanese regions. The weather will be generally clear in Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Evia, and the northeastern Aegean. Intermittent light clouds may appear in other parts of the country, particularly in the Ionian islands, western and southern mainland, and Crete. Winds in the west will remain weak and variable, while in the east, northerly winds will blow at 3-4 Beaufort, occasionally increasing to 6 Beaufort over the Aegean Sea during midday. Maximum temperatures will slightly decrease but will still range between 18°C and 19°C in most areas, with some locations hitting 20°C. Attica is forecasted to experience partly cloudy skies with north winds at 3-4 Beaufort and temperatures ranging from 8°C to 19°C. Similar conditions are expected in Thessaloniki and central Macedonia, where temperatures will drop slightly in the western region.
