According to the weather forecast from the National Meteorological Service, Macedonia and Thessaly will experience occasional cloudiness with local showers and sporadic thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. By late evening, these conditions will be restricted to central and eastern Macedonia. The rest of the country will initially see nearly clear skies with few clouds, which will increase from midday onwards over the northern Ionian Sea, mainland areas, and gradually over central and northern Aegean regions. Local showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in mountainous areas, are possible. Conditions will improve by evening. Winds will blow from northerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, with local gusts up to 6 Beaufort in the Aegean. Temperatures will drop slightly but remain within normal levels for this time of year across Greece. In northern regions, temperatures will range between 20°C and 22°C, while in other areas they will reach 24°C to 26°C, and locally in southern mainland areas up to 27°C. Macedonia and Thrace will see increased cloudiness with local showers or downpours, particularly in mountainous areas where isolated thunderstorms may occur. Winds will shift to variable directions at 2 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 10°C to 22°C, with cooler conditions in western Macedonia. Western Greece, including the Ionian Islands, western Sterea, and western Peloponnese, will start with nearly clear skies but develop clouds by midday, bringing local showers or downpours, especially in mountainous regions. Evening improvement is expected. Northeastern Sterea, Evia, and eastern Peloponnese will see scattered clouds increasing after noon, with local showers or downpours and possibly isolated thunderstorms in higher elevations. Cyclades and Crete will have few clouds, with some increases over Crete during the afternoon and evening in northern Cyclades. Northern Aegean islands and Dodecanese will start with nearly clear skies, becoming partly cloudy by late afternoon. Attica will remain mostly sunny with temporary clouds that may increase locally by midday.
