The weather on April 15, 2025 (Holy Tuesday), will be unsettled with showers continuing into Holy Thursday (April 17, 2025). These will give way to some winds on Good Friday (April 18, 2025). However, sunny skies are expected for Holy Saturday (April 19, 2025) and Easter Sunday (April 20, 2025). On Holy Tuesday, the weather will start cloudy from west to east but should gradually clear up. Some showers may occur in the northwest moving towards the east. Temperatures in the north will range between 12-15°C, central areas at 19°C, and southern regions at 21°C. Western areas could reach 22°C while eastern parts will stay around 19-20°C.
On Holy Wednesday, according to meteorologist Sakis Arnautoglou, there will be partly cloudy conditions. Showers are forecasted for Holy Thursday in the northwest. For Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, good weather is predicted overall; however, isolated showers might affect the Peloponnese on Sunday.
In Attica, expect passing clouds with possible brief rain showers during midday hours when thunderstorms could also occur. Winds will blow from the east-southeast at 2-4 Beaufort scale levels. Temperatures will range from 10 to 19°C.
Thessaloniki’s weather will feature increased cloudiness with local showers improving by afternoon. Winds will be southeast at 2-4 Beaufort. Temperatures will vary from 9 to 16°C.
Macedonia and Thrace will see periodic cloud cover with localized showers mainly in Macedonia. Winds will be east-northeast at 2-4 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 5 Beaufort in the Thracian Sea early morning.
Aegean islands and Crete will experience scattered clouds, becoming denser in places, with a chance of local showers in western Crete overnight. North-northeast winds will prevail at 3-4 Beaufort.
