Weather Forecast: Rising Temperatures and Isolated Thunderstorms Expected

According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY), western, central, and northern areas will experience periodic cloud cover with localized rain showers. In the evening, particularly in northwestern regions, isolated thunderstorms are likely to occur. The rest of the country will see scattered clouds that may become denser at times. African dust transport is forecasted, mainly affecting western and southern areas, potentially reducing visibility locally. Winds will blow from the southeast at 5-6 Beaufort, increasing to 7 locally 8 Beaufort over the seas. Temperatures will remain high for the season, reaching up to 25°C in some areas. Attica will see scattered clouds becoming denser periodically with a chance of temporary local showers in the evening. Thessaloniki will experience increased cloudiness and local showers, especially in the afternoon and evening. Macedonia and Thrace can expect increased cloudiness with local showers and possible isolated downpours, primarily in central and eastern Macedonia.
