Weather Forecast: Rain Across Most of the Country, Temperature Rise, and Saharan Dust in the West and South

The weather forecast for tomorrow (March 23, 2025) indicates a slight easing compared to Sunday, with storms replacing the sunny skies and low winds. Local showers and clouds are expected in the west, central, and northern regions, while isolated thunderstorms may occur in the northwestern areas. The National Meteorological Service (EMY) reports that scattered clouds will prevail in other regions, occasionally becoming denser. Saharan dust is set to appear mainly in the western and southern parts of the country. Despite the clouds and rain, temperatures will slightly rise, reaching 16-19°C in the north, 18-20°C in the rest of the country, and locally up to 21-22°C in central and southern mainland Greece and northern Crete. Winds will blow from southern directions at 4-6 Beaufort, locally up to 7 on the seas and possibly 8 Beaufort in the Ionian Sea. In Attica, there will be scattered clouds with occasional local showers in the afternoon, accompanied by southerly winds at 3-4 Beaufort, increasing to 5-6 Beaufort later. Temperatures will range between 6°C and 19°C. Similar conditions are expected in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Thrace, the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese, the Cyclades, Crete, the islands of the eastern Aegean, and the Dodecanese.
