Weather Forecast: Overcast March 25th with Local Showers

Intermittent local showers are forecast for the Ionian islands, mainland areas, and northeastern Aegean islands, which may become intense in the northwestern regions during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are likely in the Ionian and Epirus areas. African dust transport is favored mainly over western and southern parts. Winds will blow from southerly directions at 4 to 6 Beaufort, with local gusts up to 7 Beaufort in the Ionian Sea. Temperatures will remain largely stable, reaching 19°C in northern inland areas, 20-22°C elsewhere, and 23-24°C locally in northern Crete and the Dodecanese. Attica will see increased cloudiness with local showers in the afternoon, winds from southerly directions at 3-5 Beaufort, and temperatures ranging from 12°C to 21°C. Similar conditions are predicted for Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Thrace, Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese, Cyclades, Crete, Eastern Aegean Islands, and the Dodecanese.
