Saturday, May 10th, is expected to be rainy across most regions of Greece. According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY), Macedonia and Thrace will experience increased cloudiness with local showers and scattered thunderstorms. These conditions may intensify in some eastern areas until noon. In the northern Aegean, Cyclades, Crete, and Dodecanese, there will be occasional showers. The rest of the country will start off clear but clouds will develop over land, especially in Thessaly, Evia, eastern Sterea, and eastern Peloponnese, leading to localized rain or downpours and isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Winds will blow from northern directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, locally reaching up to 6 Beaufort in certain seas, except for the southeastern Aegean where southeasterly winds will reach 4 to 6 Beaufort. Temperatures will slightly drop, staying high only in southern regions. Attica will initially be clear but clouds will form during the afternoon with possible local showers and isolated thunderstorms in the north. Thessaloniki will see periodic cloud cover with local showers and scattered thunderstorms in the morning and again in the afternoon.
