Weather Forecast for Tomorrow: Rain and Thunderstorms Across the Country – Up to 19°C

Rainfall, with some areas experiencing heavy showers in Crete (mainly in western and southern Crete), Gavdos Island, and the Dodecanese until midday, is expected tomorrow (April 2, 2025). According to weather predictions, eastern regions will see cloudy skies with rain and sporadic thunderstorms. In the morning, these phenomena will be intense in parts of Crete, Gavdos, and the Dodecanese until noon. The rest of the country will experience occasional cloudiness with localized showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly during the afternoon and evening. Winds will blow from northern directions at 3-5 Beaufort in central and northern Greece, while in southern areas, they will reach 4-6 Beaufort from southwestern directions. Temperatures are expected to remain stable, ranging between 16-18°C in most areas and reaching up to 19°C in southern island regions. Macedonia and Thrace will face increased cloudiness with local rains and occasional thunderstorms, and light snowfall may occur in the mountains of western Macedonia. Winds will be northeastern at 3-5 Beaufort, with temperatures ranging from 7°C to 17°C. Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, and Western Peloponnese will encounter periodic cloudiness with local showers and scattered thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon and evening, along with light snow in higher elevations. Aegean islands, including Crete, will see clouds with rain and scattered thunderstorms, which will weaken by the afternoon. Dodecanese may experience strong phenomena until midday. Attica will have periodic cloudiness with showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Thessaloniki will also witness increased cloudiness with intermittent rainfall and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
