Today, rainfall and thunderstorms are expected across the Aegean and southern Greece, varying in intensity—subsiding intermittently before returning, particularly during nighttime hours. Strong winds will affect marine areas. From Friday night into Saturday, renewed showers are forecast for southern regions—including the Peloponnese, the Aegean, and Crete—with no major issues anticipated. In Attica, brief rain is possible from late Friday night through early Saturday. The upcoming weekend’s adverse weather system arrives Saturday night from the west, bringing stronger phenomena. Sunday is expected to be the most difficult day, with widespread severe weather affecting the entire country: heavy rainfall, snowfall at higher elevations, and strong to storm-force winds—potentially causing disruptions. Snowfall continues over central and northern mountains and northeastern semi-mountainous areas. Phenomena gradually ease by afternoon, starting in western regions.
