2. Add to the mix the almond oil and the essential oils of your choice.
3. Place the mixture in the freezer or outside to cool down.
4. Wait until the oils start to become solid in part. Then beat with a hand mixer until you obtain a light creamy texture.
5. Place in a clean, glass jar and enjoy!
This recipe yields 200g body butter.

Tips
1. You can use any kind of oil you want, just make sure to keep the ratio 75% solid oil or butter in a 25% liquid oil. (The coconut oil is in solid form in the winter)
2. Cooling is vital. If you don’t leave the mixture to cool sufficiently, it’s not going to be hit correctly and does not has the texture of a thick mousse, which provides for the procedure. About 20 minutes in the freezer is enough for this batch.
3. Since this recipe does not contain any water, doesn’t spoil easily, as it does not contain micro-organisms that can create mold. You have to keep it in a cool place, but you don’t need to be in the fridge, no need to add a preservative agent.
4. Nevertheless, if you want to be sure you don’t carry with your hands of bacteria in the cream, you can take 3 drops of grapefruit seed extract, when it has cooled down.
5. The body butter melts as it spreads in the body and gives a slightly greasy feeling at first, but absorbs quickly and leaves the δέρμαμεταξένιο. The individual oils and butters are absorbed by the skin completely.
6. If you want to get extra moisture and hydration, apply the body butter while skin is damp from the shower.
7. Combinations of essential oils you’ll love: ylang Ylang & bergamot, mastic & mandarin or grapefruit, jasmine & cedar, patchouli & sandalwood.
