New details have emerged regarding the tragic murder of a couple outside the Jewish Museum in Washington. According to reports, the perpetrator fired 21 bullets at the unfortunate pair. Police found 21 shell casings from a legally declared 9mm pistol used by the 31-year-old suspect just hours before the attack. The victims, Yaron Litsinski, 28, and Sara Milgrim, 26, were set to marry, with Yaron having purchased an engagement ring for Sara. Video evidence obtained by U.S. authorities shows Elias Rodriguez opening fire on the couple with calculated intent. Despite Milgrim’s attempts to escape, Rodriguez reloaded his weapon and continued shooting her. Immediately afterward, he surrendered to police at the museum, claiming responsibility for the double homicide while chanting ‘Free Palestine.’ Rodriguez had legally purchased the firearm on March 6, 2020. Facing trial, he could be sentenced to life imprisonment or execution if convicted. The couple had attended a Young Diplomats event at the museum prior to their deaths. Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Laiter, revealed that Litsinski had planned to propose marriage in Jerusalem the following week. Reports suggest Rodriguez was affiliated with a radical left-wing organization supporting the Palestinian cause.
