The United States on Sunday accused the Iranian government of hypocrisy and “flagrant” violations of the rights of citizens.
“The United States strongly condemned the organized campaign of intimidation by the Iranian government and the arrests of political, human rights defenders, political activists, student leaders, journalists and bloggers,” he said in a statement the White House.
“The Iranian government also continues to deny citizens access to information by inserting interference in satellite broadcasts and blocking Internet sites,” says The statement, issued by the representative of the National Security Council White House Tommy Vietor.
