The President of Ukraine described his recent conversation with his American counterpart, held earlier this week, as the best and most ‘productive’ he has ever had, on Saturday (05.07.2025). ‘Regarding my conversation with the President of the United States (Donald Trump), which took place yesterday, it was likely the best we’ve had throughout this period, the most productive,’ said Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an evening message. ‘We discussed issues of air defense, and I am grateful for his willingness to help. Specifically, the American Patriot system is key to protection against Russian ballistic threats,’ he added.
