Two dead and 19 wounded by a Russian attack directed at its city, Kramatorsk, on Wednesday (25.09.2024), said Donetsk region governor Vadim Filaskin. The Russian army used two highly destructive bombs, in the attack it carried out in downtown Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine, causing damage to two apartment buildings, shops and cars, Filaskin told Radio Liberty. People may have been trapped under the ruins, he added. “This is another Russian war crime and another sad reminder that there are no perfectly safe spots left in the Donetsk area,” Filaskin says in his post in the Telegram app. Video from the area along with the post on Telegram shows rescuers helping an elderly woman abandon a damaged building with broken windows and heaps of ruins around it. Kramatorsk, located about 20 km from the front line, regularly receives Russian blows.
