War in Ukraine: A family was wiped out from Russian bombings in Lviv

Four members of the same family died today from the Russians in Lviv, the west and the only survivor is the father, Ukrainian authorities announced. This attack killed a total of seven people and more than 30 were injured. “Only the man (immoved) in this photograph survived today’s attack. His wife Evgenia and their three daughters, Yarina, Darina and Emilia, were killed inside their home,” Lviv mayor Andrij Santovi said, in a post on Telegram. The message was accompanied by a photograph depicting the five-member family: smiling, holding in the hands sunflowers, with the father, Yaroslav Basilevich between his wife and their three daughters, aged 21, 18 and 7. According to the mayor Yarina, the eldest daughter, worked at the town hall. “Russia kills Ukrainians with their families”, he denounced. The Man get stitched. For months Kiev has been calling for new means to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian bombings and to be allowed to use long-range missiles within Russian territory. Many Western countries, including the US, refuse to allow such blows, as they fear an escalation of the war with Russia.
