Volos: Another Serious Car Accident – Vehicle Collides with Streetlight Pole

Another serious accident occurred early Sunday morning (16.03.2025) in Volos, where a car collided violently with a streetlight pole. Around 04:45 AM, at the roundabout near KTEL in Volos, a white vehicle was involved in the crash. According to Thenewspapare.gr, the car was traveling along Grigoriou Lambraki Street and suddenly entered the roundabout heading toward Larissa Road. Due to excessive speed, the vehicle lost control, swerved off course, crossed the central island, and ended up hitting a municipal streetlight pole. Three young individuals were inside the car but fortunately escaped unharmed as the accident resulted only in material damage. The collision caused significant damage to the vehicle, and the streetlight pole was also damaged. The Traffic Department of Volos is conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, with initial indications pointing to loss of vehicle control during the turn.
