Volos: 41-Year-Old Motorcycle Driver Dies After Severe Accident

A tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday (23.04.2025) in Volos, where a 41-year-old motorcycle driver lost his life following a severe collision with a car. The accident happened after midnight on Larissa Avenue at the intersection with Ypsilantis Street in Volos when the motorcycle carrying the unfortunate 41-year-old and another individual collided violently with a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old. The impact was so strong that the motorcycle was thrown several meters away, leaving both riders on the road. The 41-year-old driver was rushed to the Volos Hospital by an EKAB ambulance and immediately treated. However, shortly before 4:00 AM, the man succumbed to his injuries. The passenger, who was also injured, is reportedly out of danger. The accident site remains under investigation by the Volos Traffic Department, which is examining the conditions of the collision and seeking testimonies and footage from nearby security cameras.
