Vivian Kontomari: ‘Nothing is Certain Yet About the Return of “Soi Sou”’

“I would love it, given how things are, because we adore Soi,” said the popular actress. Regarding the rumored return of the successful comedic television series “Soi Sou,” Vivian Kontomari spoke during her latest interview on Saturday morning (March 29, 2025), with the Weekenders team and journalist Nandia Rigatou on ANT1. “Every time after our show ends, people ask what will happen with Soi. Efforts are being made to bring back the series for a continuation, but nothing is certain or official yet. Everyone has been contacted, which is true,” revealed the renowned actress initially. “However, this does not mean that everything is finalized. There’s a big gap between discussing availability, finances, production schedules, and actually closing a deal. So right now, we’re in a waiting period,” she added. “Personally, I would love it, given the current circumstances, because we have grown to love Soi. On the other hand, sequels generally aren’t always great, so it’s a risk. Nonetheless, this particular series has an audience eagerly waiting to turn on their TVs to watch it,” concluded Vivian Kontomari.
