Viohalco’s annual revenue reached €7.2 billion in 2025 — a 9% increase from €6.6 billion in 2024 — driven primarily by higher sales volumes and improved pricing.

Strong Operational and Profit Performance

The company’s adjusted EBITDA rose to €727 million, up 20% year-on-year from €604 million in 2024. This reflects Viohalco’s continued focus on higher-margin product categories and disciplined cost management.

Pre-tax profits climbed to €398 million, up 45% from €274 million in 2024. The growth was fueled by robust performance across its aluminium, cable, and steel pipe businesses, alongside a gradual recovery in the broader steel sector.

Dividend Proposal and Geopolitical Monitoring

Viohalco’s Board of Directors has proposed a mixed dividend of €0.27 per share for approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for 26 May 2026.

The company is closely monitoring geopolitical developments — particularly the conflict involving Iran and rising tensions across the Middle East — and assessing potential impacts on supply chains due to instability in the Strait of Hormuz, volatility in fossil fuel prices, energy costs, and broader macroeconomic conditions.

CEO Statement

Commenting on the results, CEO Hippocrates Ioannis Stasinopoulos said: “In 2025, we further strengthened our diversified global portfolio, competitive positioning, and optimized production base to respond effectively to an increasingly volatile environment. Despite ongoing external challenges, our commitment to agility, customer proximity, and operational resilience enabled us not only to adapt but also to seize growth opportunities across our worldwide footprint.

“This is clearly reflected in our strong financial performance — with 9% annual revenue growth and a 20% rise in adjusted EBITDA to €727 million. The significant improvement in profitability underscores the tangible results of our strategy, supported by positive momentum in aluminium, cables, and steel pipes, as well as the notable recovery in the steel sector.

“Looking ahead, we remain fully committed to continuous operational optimization, product innovation, and targeted expansion into high-potential market segments — all aimed at creating sustainable long-term value for stakeholders. Recent regulatory developments in the European Union — including upcoming steel safeguard measures expected to be finalized and implemented soon — are anticipated to help address existing market distortions and support fairer competition.”
