Personally, ἐνοριτῶν, εὐλαβῶν and φιλεόρτων Χριστιανῶν προσῆλθαν in the ἱερὰ this Ἀκολουθία τιμῶντες ton Ἅγιον of our Church.
The saint Εὐθύμιος was born in 377, at Γρατιανοῦ (375-383), in Melitene, the Ἀρμενίας.
There followed a the ἱερατικό stage, in which the ἔταξαν the εὐσεβεῖς parents of Παῦλος and Dionysia, where had stayed at a lot of time ἄτεκνοι.
From the Melitene, ἀναχώρησε for the Ἱερουσαλήμ, and has ἐγκλείσθηκε in the Lavra Φαρᾶν, bearing fellow ascetic, the saint Theoctist, with the which and ἔφυγαν in ἔρημο.
Ἐξεδήμησε the 473 in ἡλικία 97 years, in Leo the Great (457-474), ἀφοῦ converted many Saracens to Christianity.
