The feud between US President Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk has intensified after a bombshell revelation on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Musk accused Trump of being linked to Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious list, which has not been made public. To support his claim, Musk shared a video from 1992 showing Trump enjoying events with Epstein in Florida. “Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files,” Musk wrote. He concluded his post with a sarcastic note: “Have a nice day, DJT!” Trump and Epstein were known associates since the 1980s, with Trump describing Epstein in a 2002 New York Magazine interview as a ‘fantastic guy.’ Although Trump denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands, he admitted they moved in similar social circles. Court documents reveal that Trump traveled seven times with Epstein on his private jet, accompanied by family members including daughter Tiffany and son Eric. They attended parties with young women at Mar-a-Lago. In 2019, following Epstein’s arrest, Trump stated their relationship had soured years prior. However, when Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested in 2020, Trump surprisingly wished her ‘the best,’ fueling further controversy.
