Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban stated that the European Union should support the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve a peace agreement in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Specifically, when asked if Hungary continues to oppose further financial aid from the EU to Ukraine, Orban replied: “We do not support that.” He added: “As we understand it, there is only one clear mission the European Union must fulfill – to support the efforts of President Donald Trump to make peace.”
