Vangelis Marinakis Honored as Grand Marshal in NYC’s Greek Independence Day Parade

Vangelis Marinakis, the owner of Olympiacos FC, participated in the prestigious Greek Independence Day parade on New York’s iconic 5th Avenue. As one of the honored grand marshals, Marinakis celebrated alongside Greek-Americans to commemorate the 1821 Greek Revolution. The event was also an opportunity for recognition of Olympiacos FC’s centennial and its recent European trophies.
