USA: Shootings at Album Release Event in Chicago – Dead and Injured

Three people have been killed and 16 others injured following a shooting outside a nightlife venue in Chicago late on Wednesday (2.7.2025), during an album release event. Police confirmed that multiple individuals were shot in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue. A city official stated that at least 19 people were shot, three of whom lost their lives when a gunman in a vehicle opened fire on the crowd. The attack occurred as people were leaving the Artis Lounge nightclub after an event celebrating the release of rapper Mello Buckzz’s new album. The same area saw another deadly incident in November 2022, when a man was killed and three others injured following an altercation.
