USA: At the mercy of snow many States – In a state of emergency Kansas, Kentucky, Arkanso and Virginia

Many of their States hit a heavy wave of snow and frost and authorities are on alert. About 60 million residents in more than ten U.S. States – from Kansas to New Jersey – have been called on to be alert to follow local authorities’ instructions due to bad weather. CORVERSE In an emergency the states of Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia and Virginia have already been declared. Having first hit the central states, the storm moves northeast, with the capital Washington preparing for dense snowfall and chilly cold Monday – when the US Congress will meet to formally ratify Donald Trump’s election to the presidency. Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson told the Fox News television network that bad weather will not prevent members of Congress from carrying out their duties. Roads were covered with snow and ice and authorities appealed to residents to avoid moving. Weather scientists estimate that bad weather will be removed Monday night from the U.S. East Coast to the Atlantic Ocean, but a wave of Arctic colds will keep temperatures 5-10 degrees Celsius below the average for the season.
