An unbelievable assault incident occurred on March 6 when a mother, accompanied by her two minor children, boarded a school bus with the intent to attack a 14-year-old student who reportedly bullied her 13-year-old son. WARNING! Graphic images follow. The 36-year-old Latea Hentz from Indianapolis, USA, entered the school bus of her 13-year-old son along with her 17-year-old daughter to severely beat up the 14-year-old. Videos that went viral on social media platforms showed the brutal attack by the three on the minor. During the incident, the Warren Township School bus driver could be heard telling Hentz that parents were not allowed on the bus. However, the mother told the driver she was coming to call the police as the three approached the student. According to Fox 59, Hentz’s daughter and son immediately started fighting with the eighth-grade student. “Hit him!” Hentz and her daughter began threatening other children on the bus who pleaded for them to stop the assault. At one point, the 17-year-old turned to a 10-year-old girl on the bus and threatened her, asking if she wanted the same treatment, according to IndyStar citing court documents. Hentz and her children stopped assaulting the student when the police arrived. However, as they exited the bus, she openly threatened the other students, saying, “I’m going to destroy this” and “I’m tired of you kids.” Hentz claimed to the police that the victim had been bullying her son for weeks and had shoved him the day before the attack. She also alleged that the school knew about the bullying but did nothing to stop it. WARNING! Graphic images follow. The 14-year-old suffered severe injuries from Hentz and her children. When transferred to Riley Children’s Hospital, doctors found that his finger was fractured and his left eye was black from bruises and punches. Later, he gave a statement to the Warren Township Police Department’s child abuse unit, revealing a different account of what happened before and during the March 6 attack. The victim, who is half-Mexican, told investigators that Hentz’s son teased him, made racist jokes, and commented about ICE, according to court records. He then claimed, “A mom and her kids attacked me savagely.” Initially charged with a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct, intimidation, and trespassing after the incident, Hentz was later indicted by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday for battery and intimidation.
