US: Influencer and Mother of Seven Shot Dead by Ex-Husband in Parking Lot

A horrifying incident unfolded in a restaurant parking lot where fitness influencer Gloria Zamora, mother of seven, was shot dead by her estranged husband, Thomas Lizarraga. The 40-year-old, who had over 150,000 followers on Instagram, was on a date at a California restaurant when she became the victim of a fatal shooting. According to police reports, Lizarraga followed her to the restaurant and opened fire, also injuring her date, Hector Garduno, a 43-year-old father of four, outside Summa Sushi. Several off-duty officers, including a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy, responded swiftly, resulting in an exchange of gunfire that killed Lizarraga. Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Zamora had recently shared videos on social media discussing her tumultuous relationship with Lizarraga, highlighting the tension between them. This tragedy has left her family and community grappling with the senseless act of violence.
