US: Florida Senator Fainted During Speech – Doctor Saved Her Just in Time

In a dramatic turn of events, Florida Senator Ileana Garcia fainted during a press conference in Miami on Tuesday (06.05.2025). The senator was speaking about plans for a statewide ban on water fluoridation when she suddenly collapsed. However, Florida’s Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo was present and sprang into action, catching her before she hit the ground. ‘Hey, I got you, I got you,’ said Ladapo as he gently placed Garcia in a chair. After receiving immediate care from the doctor, Garcia regained her composure and stood up again to applause from the audience. ‘You’re messing with my moment; I couldn’t do it,’ she joked, lightening the mood. She completed her speech without further issues and left the stage to applause.
