Speaking today (June 3, 2025) at the Leadership Summit of the US-Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Zurich, the U.S. Treasury Secretary also highlighted untapped opportunities for Switzerland and the U.S. to collaborate more on artificial intelligence and financial services. “The U.S.,” he said, “is striving to remain an attractive destination for foreign and domestic investments through tax cuts, trade rebalancing, and deregulation.” He added that precision construction is one of the goals of the Trump administration. Officials from the U.S., he noted, will continue working with their Swiss counterparts to refine global financial regulations, update capital requirements, and maintain collaboration on key macroeconomic issues.
