Unstable Weather Conditions with Low Temperatures, Rain, and Storms Until Wednesday

The unstable weather conditions that prevailed on Clean Monday (March 3, 2025) will continue on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) and Wednesday (March 5, 2025). The main characteristics will be low temperatures for the season, rain, and storms. Strong winds reaching up to eight Beaufort are also expected in the Aegean Sea. According to the latest forecasts, Tuesday’s weather will be rainy in Thessaly, central-eastern Sterea Ellada, Evia, the Sporades, and northeastern Peloponnese. Clear skies will prevail in western northern Greece. In Attica, weak local rains are expected which will then weaken, with temperatures ranging from 5 to 13 degrees Celsius. In Thessaloniki, there will be local cloudiness and long periods of sunshine, with temperatures ranging from 5 to 13 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos from MEGA provided a detailed weather forecast indicating showers and isolated thunderstorms in eastern continental areas and locally in the Aegean, including Crete. Winds will blow from northeasterly directions at 4-6 Beaufort in the west, 5-7 Beaufort in the east, and locally up to 8 Beaufort in the Aegean. Temperatures will slightly decrease in central and southern regions.
