These blows were carried out as the Israeli Security Council is expected to rule today on a ceasefire after two months of war against pro-Iran Hezbollah. Israel demands effective implementation by the UN of a possible ceasefire agreement with Lebanon and will show “zero tolerance” to any violation, Israel’s Defence Minister said today Kats. “Any house in southern Lebanon rebuilt and operated as a terrorist base will be destroyed, any war equipment and terrorist regrouping will be hit, any attempt to smuggle weapons will be prevented and any threat to our forces or Israeli citizens will be destroyed immediately,” Kats told UN special coordinator for Lebanon Janine Hennis- Plasart.
