Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet exclusively with Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks in Turkey this Thursday, not engaging with any other members of the Russian delegation, a presidential advisor stated on Tuesday (May 13) to Reuters. “I will wait for Putin in Turkey on Thursday. In person. I hope this time the Russians won’t look for excuses,” Zelenskyy said, just hours before May 15 in Istanbul. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump offered to participate in the proposed Ukraine-Russia peace talks. However, Russia has yet to clarify whether it plans to participate and at what level. Simultaneously, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that its anti-aircraft defense units successfully destroyed all ten unmanned aircraft (drones) launched by Russia overnight. According to Reuters estimates, this represents the smallest number of drones fired during a nighttime attack over several weeks.
