Almost simultaneously, the Speaker of the House announced the resignation of Olha Stefanisina, the Deputy Minister responsible for European Integration. Stefanisina left as part of the government’s reform, she added. Zelenski said changes would be made to ensure Ukraine has the strong government it needs. “The autumn will be very important. State institutions must be structured in such a way that Ukraine achieves all the results it wants,” he told his daily, video message. “That is why we must strengthen certain aspects of the government and prepare changes. There will also be changes in the presidency office,” he said. Earlier yesterday the Ministers for Justice, Environment and Strategic Industries submitted their resignations. After the scapegoats of other ministers in the previous period, almost a third of the ministerial offices remain vacant.
