UK: Proposal for compulsory vaccination for health professionals

Coronavirus vaccines will be a prerequisite for the employment of 1.2 million workers at the forefront of the fight against Covid disease.

The London government is reportedly launching a consultation today to make vaccination mandatory for National Health System (NHS) staff, a plan that is expected to cause severe discomfort to workers.

At least 1.2 million health workers working in Britain’s National Health Service will be called in to get the Covid vaccine.

“Those who are not vaccinated against coronavirus, according to information, will not be able to come in contact with patients, which means that they will probably be demoted or lose their jobs”, writes the British publication.

The data show that about 92% of staff in the British National Health Service (NHS) have had one dose of the coronary vaccine and 88% have been fully vaccinated (they have also had the doses of the vaccine).
