U.S. sends drones, Himars rockets and equipment conservationers to Ukraine

Their defence ministry announced the granting of new military aid to her, which is estimated at $988 million. The new aid comes shortly before Donald Trump takes office, who is opposed to the relief mission in Kiev. U.S. aid to Ukraine includes drones, missiles for the Himars rocket launch systems and increased assistance for maintaining critical equipment, clarified the Pentagon in its announcement. Assistance announced today (07/12/2024) will be provided through a mechanism whereby military equipment is purchased from the defence industry or from the partners and is not drawn from American reserves. This aid is therefore not expected to be available in the short term for Ukraine to use it in the field of combat. Donald Trump, who met Ukrainian President Volontimir tonight (07/12/2024) Zelensky in Paris along with French President Emmanuel Macron, was very critical in recent months of the billions of dollars Washington releases for Ukraine. The elected president has promised to end the war between Kiev and Moscow even before he vowed in January, never explaining how. Ukraine’s European allies fear US release from this conflict or even American pressure for an agreement against Kiev.
