As well as through the interview to the Bild, the prime minister launched an attack on the IMF, criticising the attitude of the IMF and by ascribing to the Fund “arbitrary assessments”. “The first evaluation will be completed soon, despite the delaying tactic that keeps the IMF”, said the prime minister and spoke about the convergence between the government and the european institutions, specifying that it is a convergence and not a unilateral accession to their views, which regard to the reforms, the primary surplus and fiscal gap 2016-2018.
“We are not isolated in this negotiation,” he stressed, noting that will be called very soon the EU at the highest level, to the political, to ask all parties to respect the agreement signed.
